What a lovely name Fluellen has. It’s in the Veronicaceae family, so is related to toadflaxes, speedwells and foxgloves. This is Sharp-Leaved Fluellen, Kickxia elatine, which #wildflowerhour star @Barbus59 found in Kent. You should get to know him, if you haven’t already: he posts beautiful photos and is always overjoyed to share his knowledge and help people out. A real star.
This is a reasonably uncommon plant that grows as a weed on arable land, particularly chalky soils.
