#wildflowerhour is easy-peasy to understand.
At 8pm every Sunday, we all share pictures of flowers we have found growing wild in Britain and Ireland over the preceding week. Of course, if you’re busy at that time, you can always post something during the week – but 8-9pm is when we have a proper party.
You can do this on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram or wherever else you fancy. We have a Facebook group for you to share pictures in, or on Twitter make sure you use the hashtag #wildflowerhour.
Don’t know what a plant is? We’ll all work together to try to identify it.
Feeling a bit grey and miserable? There really is no better antidote than flooding the internet with wild flowers every weekend. Join us!
We are a site that isn’t run to make money but to spread the love of plants.
And there are WFHs popping up all over the world. Visit our International page for more information. If you’re not in Britain and Ireland but would like to set up a #wildflowerhour in your country, please get in touch.
